The Spanish town of Ibi celebrated the Day of Innocents by pelting each other with flour and eggs as part of a traditional festival known as Els Enfarinats, in Alicante. The annual festival, which dates back more than 200 years, sees participants dressed in military uniforms stage a mock coup d’etat, throwing eggs, flour and smoke bombs at each other.
